Background

Rune grew up in a northern, icy island region in a culture of nomads. He enjoyed hopping between the islands with his family (whether it was just for travel, for political reasons, or for battle), and after a while he decided he wanted to see what the rest of the world was like. They left home in their late teens and quickly got in over their head... except, they didn't realize this. From getting robbed on the road to having to run from multiple town guards due to unpaid lodging fees, Rune considered every obstacle a fun challenge to be overcome. He continues to travel throughout nations in search of these kinds of experiences.
