Background

Rui grew up in the nation of Livendah. Her family was affluent, and owned a major shipping company along with the ships used to export goods to other nations. She eventually left home for the Empire on one of these ships. The idea was that she would get an idea of how her parents' shipping business worked on the east coast of the Empire. Instead, noticing the intense wealth gap in the Empire, she snuck away from her guardians and headed inland to learn more and see if she could help. She eventually came across a commune and was welcomed with open arms. Since then, she's been passing the knowledge she gained from her high-end education onto the kids of the commune as a teacher.
